When to choose Stilla: You are replacing an ageing on-premise installation and want to migrate the data to a modern tool.
When Stilla alongside it: It can run in parallel during the transition; we migrate the data by import.
Where another choice is better: You require on-premise operation outside a container platform only.

Is Stilla an alternative to ServiceNow?

For infrastructure operations, yes: impact maps, changes, patching and costs in one application without an extensive implementation project. If you need one platform for the whole company (HR, facilities, legal), ServiceNow is the better choice – Stilla can then run alongside it.

Can Stilla run alongside an existing CMDB?

Yes. Stilla syncs with a primary CMDB such as ServiceNow or OpenText SMAX via external IDs and adds the operational layer: impact maps, changes in windows, patching and costs. Sync is part of the Enterprise edition.

How do I move from Broadcom CA Service Desk?

We migrate the data by import, and both tools can run in parallel during the transition.

Where is Stilla still weaker?

We do not yet offer deep automatic discovery from vCenter and clouds – the connectors are in preparation. For a pure help desk without infrastructure management, or a company-wide platform, other tools are a better fit.
